Sekonda is a long-standing British-designed brand established in 1966. We take pride in our original and ongoing goal of providing simply great, stylish watches at affordable/accessible prices.

Sekonda began with a small collection of mechanical watches, and soon became a household name. In the late 70s, the world embraced new electronic technology and Sekonda switched from producing mechanical watches to quartz battery models.

Sekonda became a big household name in the 70s and 80s thanks to the campaign ‘beware of expensive imitations’. This is where we were able to have a little fun with the luxury end of the watch market. In 1988, Sekonda became the UK’s bestselling volume brand and held this title for decades.

Sekonda is well positioned in the fashion watch segment of the global travel retail market after 30 years of trading with international travel partners. Some of our longest standing retail partners include: Dufry (Avolta), Lagardere Travel Retail, Lotte Duty Free, ARI, EasyJet and Jet2. Our retail partners work very closely with our merchandising teams to plan travel collections in line with traveller profiles.

The brand is currently listed in over 170 travel trade outlets covering 75 countries, as well as being present on-board more than 100 airlines and cruise ships. We see a great deal of potential by expanding into the key channels of travel retail further and with deeper relationships with our partners, to offer more choice for travellers searching for the perfect gift or something to remind them of a travel memory.

Each Sekonda watch undergoes 21 quality control checks, and we only use top of the range Japanese movements made from quality components. Sekonda watches are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.

Myalee has worked with Watches and Jewellery for over thirty years both on the Buying and Supplying side.  She has worked with DFS (Duty Free Shoppers), WDF – World Duty Free and Fraser Hart Jewellers as well as with the Fossil Group and Swarovski.  Myalee has been with Time Products since March 2023 and brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience to her travel retail role.

Myalee obviously (!) loves to travel, she loves to get involved with the product development side of the business and is always looking at current and up and coming trends that can help to develop the business further.

Emma has more than 25 years marketing experience from both agency side and within the retail and brand sector.. Previously at the Watches of Switzerland Group as Goldsmith marketing manager for 7 years including a secondment within the Commercial Trading function. Prior to that appointment she spent 14 years in-house at the optical retailer Vision Express heading up trade marketing. Emma joined Time Products in October 2022 as Head of Trade Marketing and has worked closely with Myalee and the International team to build relationships, develop the business and its opportunities within Travel Retail.
