COTI was founded by friends and former colleagues Julie and Nancy to combat the frustration of never having reading glasses when needed. The acronym COTI is “Chuckle On The Inside” and is Julie & Nancy’s view on life and all things associated with encouraging others to live their best mid-lives.
COTI is a creative and colourful lifestyle brand that combines fashion with function to help make reading the small print easier. All of COTI’s Amore Italia chains are handmade in Italy from Recycled Material as they aim to incorporate recycled or eco-friendly components in all aspects where possible.
Julie & Nancy’s Vision was to make wearing glasses fun, fashionable and always at your fingertips. Featured on Dragons’ Den in April 2021 and today COTI is seen as a market leader that undoubtedly revolutionised the glasses chain. As Deborah Meadon stated, “they brought an important bit of kit out of the dullness into the light”.
With Offices in the UK and Italy COTI serves distributors in 8 countries and wholesale accounts in more that 40 countries. Recently awarded for the second year running as finalists for the Travel Retail Awards as voted by Shoppers and Frontier Awards Finalists. COTI glasses chains make the perfect travel companion.
