Ian Macleod Distillers, one of Scotland’s leading independent family-owned distillers, blenders and bottlers, is launching its new Global Travel Retail exclusive range of Edinburgh Gin liqueurs this month with Avolta.
Edinburgh Gin Liqueur is the UK’s number one fruit liqueur brand and the pioneer of the hugely popular category. Elevated Editions is a new range of liqueurs that has been developed exclusively for the global traveller. Available now in Avolta’s UK World Duty Free stores, the three expressions, Rhubarb & Ginger, Raspberry and Blood Orange & Ginger are bursting with elevated natural flavours and have a higher alcoholic strength than the domestic range (22% abv v 20%).
Edinburgh Gin Liqueur Elevated Editions (RRP: £11.99/€13.90/$15.99) can be enjoyed in many ways, but the recommended serve is a simple but delicious spritz, combining them with sparkling wine and ginger ale or soda. The hero, ‘Rubi Spritz’ uses the top selling Rhubarb and Ginger Elevated Editions liqueur plus ginger ale and sparkling wine. This delicious cocktail is set to become the must-have drink of the party season.
The Elevated Editions name reflects the enhanced flavours and higher abv and is a nod to air travel. All three expressions are available exclusively with Avolta in their UK World Duty Free stores during October, before becoming more widely available in the channel.
